The Australian School of Bartending operates a ‘7-Day Bar Operations' course, which includes nationally recognised competencies:

THHGHS01B Follow workplace hygiene procedures

THHGFA01B Process financial transactions
THHBFB09B Provide responsible service of alcohol
This course is run over 7 (seven) working days, and details may be found on the accredited course page. These competencies will give a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (RTO number 21643)
Bar Courses:
A variety of hands-on, short skills bartending courses are available, in addition to the 7-Day Bar Operations course. These short skills bar courses are available in 2-, 3- and 5-day formats, delivered in either a day, evening of weekend format to suit your needs. These courses attract a Certificate of Attendance for the modules included in the course selected. As course delivery is modulised, additional modules can be added by paying the difference between the various course levels. All bar courses include the Liquor Licensing Victoria RSA certificate. Waiter courses:
Hands-on short skills courses in waiting and silver service. Enhance job opportunities and discover all about becoming a waiter. Coffee:
Our Practical Coffee Making course with extended hours for this course where you will make different types of coffee for most of the session. There's some theory about operating the espresso machine, the grinder, the different coffee varieties and some coffee history. Student numbers are low so you get lots of practise in this improved course. Great course manual included. Enhance your job opportunities and combine this course with any waiter and/or bar course. RSA:
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA). Get the Official Liquor Licensing Victoria RSA Certificate. This is a mus t for anybody working in the liquor industry. Join for this last session of the 5-Day, Weekend or Evening Bar course, and learn about your obligations as a bartender and regulations for the serving of alcohol. See course tab for details.
RSG:
Held in conjunction with Angliss Hospitality Compliance Training, at our school in Oakleigh, this course covers all legal requirements of holding a Gaming Licence, your rights, legal responsibilities and special employee's obligations. Endorsed by AHA, Clubs Victoria, TabCorp and Tattersalls. Receive the Responsible Serving of Gaming Certificate. Employers seeking Gaming staff consider this certificate a distinct advantage. NB This course is NOT THE GAMING LICENCE which you will also need. The school is happy to supply interested parties with information on obtaining a Gaming Licence.
RSF:
This course covers all requirements of the Food Act. Receive THHGHS01B - Follow workplace hygiene procedures Statement of Attainment. Also known as 'Basic Food Handling' the course meets all council requirements. A must for all hospitality workers and includes a great manual for future reference. See course tab for details.
